②為克服外在的壓力、懼怕、不穩定、焦慮及絶望;
Spiritual Life with God
Colossians 1:13–14 (NIV)
13For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
Introduction: A human being is an entity whose spirit dwells in a house of flesh. After his fall, Adam was dead because his spirit was disconnected from God's life. However, he lived with the evil spirit who lives spiritually in the flesh. Those who believe in Jesus live in the flesh together with the Holy Spirit by receiving life from God, for their dead spirit is quickened. Therefore, regardless of believers or non-believers, their inner self or spiritual person can never live alone.
1. The descendents of Adam.
1)Since he was banished from Eden, Adam became a slave to Satan who enslaves
us with chains of sin, secularism, disease, the curse, and death (Ro 5:12; 6:17).
2)The spirit of Satan lives in the spirit of human beings (Eph 2:1–3).
3)The role of Satan's spirit that dwells in human beings.
①Disconnection of communication with God—atheism, the spirit of
delusion (2Co 4:3–4).
②Secular concerns (Eph 2:3; 1Jn 2:16).
③Indifference to the afterworld (Jas 4:14; Heb 9:27–28).
2. Changing the master.
1)By accepting Jesus as Savior ( Col 1:13; Eph 2:4–6).
2)The indwelling of the Holy Spirit (2Co 1:22).
①His guidance in communication with God and Jesus (1Jn 4:13).
②The spread of the Gospel in the nation (Ro 10:10, 14–15).
③The Second Coming of Jesus and interest in heaven (Mt 16:26–27; Php 3:20).
3. The God who dwells in us.
1) Our address, God's address (Jn 14:20, 23).
2) Depend on God who is in us.
①For wisdom, intelligence, and right direction (Php 2:13; Col 1:9).
②To overcome outside stress, fear, instability, nervousness, and despair, and to
gain peace,courage and power (1Jn 4:4, 18).
③To overcome physical weakness and disease (2Co 12:9–10).
④To be bold and strong (Jos 1:5-6).
Conclusion: Since God lives in us, our perspectives toward ourselves and the world must be changed (2Co 4:7–9).
